  Technology to the Rescue!

We are in the beginning stages of mapping a strategy to preserve these treasures through technology.  By scanning articles, photos and other resources into digital files, we have a record stored that can be accessed repeatedly without risk of damage to the actual artifact.  Special measures must be taken and the counsel of professional archivists and digital imaging specialists will be needed.  If you know anyone who can provide services or guidance; email us at info@kailuahistoricalsociety.org.  While a massive undertaking, we know that this effort will secure our history forever.  Call Randy Groza at (808) 263-4147 to contribute items to the archives.
